Hear the tears fall, watch your pain leak
Too lost to find, but still you seek
Hiding in darkness, so near to the light
It's been so long, you've forgotten how to fight
You can walk freely when day turns to night
You curl up on the ground,
Hoping to be found,
You lie to yourself, tell yourself your fine,
The darkness has overcome you, burnt away life's shine,
Can the light can save you from yourself,
When your heart is up on the shelf?
