Lost Poem by Brandy Green

Lost

Rating: 5.0

Thrown aside by the foolishness we bring
Taken for granted never will we know
The beauty of friends like rainbows in spring
Instead we let it to dissolve like winter snow

Caught up in nothing but ourselves it fades
We see no problem in our selfishness
Striking each other like words on a blade
We only view others as nemesis

on our shoulders we carry our dark hearts
clouded by our own lost  misplaced  judgement
we would rather play each other like darts
Than to accept that we don't hold judgment

Lost and misunderstood is the value
of friends, will you understand, shall you?
