Lost Poem by ABAYOMI OGUNNIYI

Lost

Rating: 2.0

Vain flair at the miles
of despair,
thy thoughts to bear
the stricken breathe
embroiled beneath
your fears.

Captivated by the foils
of the folly at the
covered exploits of tricks
and deceit.

Minds drilled the
broken crumbs of
bread in the slavery
of their thought.

Breeding on pressure of
survival in the will and
force of limited ambition.

Thy words are entangled
at the breech of your
belief,
to see is to beat your
defeat to its knee.
