Lost And Alone Poem by Kimberly Hope

Lost And Alone

Lost in this lonely world, all by myself.
I don't know which way to turn,
but when I do,
I see nothing but darkness.
I've been looking for you,
but you're no where to be found.
Why have you abandoned me so?
I thought we were good together,
I thought we were real,
that we had a life set plan together.
But now I'm standing here in the pouring rain,
these dark trees are all around me
and I am lost once again.
For you have left me,
took my light,
and now I cannot see of which way I am to turn
so that I may return back to my pathetic home.
Lost forever I am,
but alone I am not.
For our offspring is all that I have left
to live for in this world
and his sheer glory
that he will bring me forever and ever to come.
