Lost But Still Here Poem by nariah sablan

Lost But Still Here

woke up one morning, thinking you were there.
i can't believe you could do that to me.
just throwing your life away isn't fair,
you are not just destroying me but your whole family.

I wish i could have helped you pull through.
I'm sorry i didn't do anything, i'm sorry i wasn't there.
you never answered my calls, i couldn't contact you.

The memories we shared is all can hold onto,
Sad memories and happy ones galore.
i remember all the times we said 'i love you.'
i couldn't ask for anything more.

Having to let go is the hardest thing to do,
but in my heart there's always going to be a me and you.
