Lost By Mind Poem by craig walker

Lost By Mind

I look around the world, and what do I see
Its all this religion, its fighting with me.
I see starving little faces, while the pope is at lunch.
I see billions of dollars, in assets to punch.
Would something stemmed, from such good intent,
choose to create fear, from what it had sent.
or has the evil, planted a seed,
In the very good book, we swear by and read.
If the lord is our shepard, and we are the sheep,
would wolf's wear in omen, this clothing we seek
It is typical for man, to think that they know,
what's good for the people, and people they show.
Maybe its not about money, or following “the”
Maybe its as simple, as you and me.
Maybe its about choice, to learn and to grow,
Create mental freedom, and let the good flow.
Instead of suppressing what a child already knows,
why don't we encourage, so every ONE grows.
I understand TRUTH, it wants to unite.
With just recognition, we will see the light
