Lost Friends? Poem by Alex Tedeschi

I told her everything I felt
She never judged my ways
She helped me through the hard times
And struggles through the days

She always stood right by my side
My number one best friend
But one night we had a fight
I thought it was the end

There was thing constant pain inside
To know she wasn't here
It took away all my strength
To hold back just one tear

School was getting tough for me
I really couldn't think
Every time I took a step
I felt like I would sink

She said she had made a mistake
I told her it was fine
No matter what I told her
She thought she crossed the line

Quickly I forgave her
For what she had done wrong
I knew that she was upset
I tried to make her strong

I knew that I can't change her mind
So I just tried to pray
I thought it wasn't changing
Until I heard her say

I want to forget this all
And put it in the past
I know that it'll be okay
I know that it'll last

If you feel betrayed inside
But want it to be fine
Pray for God to help you
It might just take some time
