Lost hope

Lost hope

Crowds of people
A wave of hoards
Just pushing
And crushing
Comfort has no scope

Yes! This is how
Temples seem to me
What happened
To to all the peace?
My path to ecstasy

Too much lost
Some lessons learnt
Tranquility too
Seems to have
Got burnt

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born
