Lost Hope - Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Lost hope

Crowds of people
A wave of hoards
Just pushing
And crushing
Comfort has no scope

Yes! This is how
Temples seem to me
What happened
To to all the peace?
My path to ecstasy

Too much lost
Some lessons learnt
Tranquility too
Seems to have
Got burnt

Not just the Hindu temple...other places of worship too vitiated with the negativity of thieves, chain snatchers and all the aggression that goes with needless competition (Report) Reply
