Lost in Spring

Sweet little lambs
Born in spring
A life so short
Dose it mean any thing
From there mother s
body where they lay
In to the snow
To be born to day
Ice and snow and
Winter cold these little lambs
Didn’t grow very old
God have mercy on there souls
Little ones born to day
Please make the snow go away
Too many have lost the fight
Bring back the farmer heat to night
A sad spring for all this year
Will the live stock disappear?
Lord bring the spring the
One with flowers and birds that sing
Take away the snow and cold
Its gets worse as we get old
People trapped inside there homes
Have no power and live alone
Help them lord to survive
Keep them warm and
yes keep them alive

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me
Who have not drawn the veil to see
If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
