Lost In The Wind Poem by john (called jack) wren

Lost In The Wind

I sleep but my heart is awake, my pillow is damp with tears
the desire in my life grows dim, shipwrecked on an island of fears
once we abounded in love, deeper than the mists of time
more tender than the softest morn a partnership so sublime
my life is nought without your love, love lost in the wind
there is no love without your life
nor life without your love

song of songs ch5 v2-6
