Lost In Your Own World Poem by Vampire Heart

Lost In Your Own World

Rating: 5.0

Severe tides conceil pain beneath dark waters,
By the moonlight mezmerized you walk the path of shattered dreams,
To the fortress called night where lost souls dance,
To the melodic whispers of the dead widow's song.
Grey clouds embrace the sky,
Blanketing shattered mirror pieces called stars.
Drawn from the masquerade of true lies,
Fear lowers it's mask to see it's reflection in your eyes,
Truth blinds the cruel portrait and tears wash it away.

A soft kiss brings the dawn from it's knees,
And the sun to celestial gates.
But not even the angel wings of daylight,
Can breathe courage into your conscience.
For the fear you so much fear is you...

A deep and darkly toned piece of classical imagery. An almost sonnet! Bravo. Rgds, Ivan
