Lost The Talking Soul Poem by TheBigThinkg Human

Lost The Talking Soul

Sorry Dear………..
Sometimes I don’t hear
Your heart’s desire
Though it speaks loud and clear

Files that pile on my desktop
Mails landing and leaving my laptop
Local, Global politics and economics
Cloud my senses to your wish

Remember those days in our town
When we were not on our own
Far apart we were torn
Still our hearts had talked all alone

Standing far off in crowded places
We ever talked through our faces
I knew every word your eyes told
You knew all the thoughts in my mind’s fold..

Flowered skirt and the colored shirt
Long plaited hair flowering white
Lovely eyes atop a silver smile
I ate, drank and breathed on your prized sight

Today I have you close by my side
Forever in my life’s fight
Unable to cherish you day or night
Running after a distant twilight

Job, Money, Property and prosperity
Kids, Colleagues, Friends and Relatives
Submerged totally in worldly chores
Lost in this din is our talking soul!
