Little Debts That We Leave..

Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday. As she is in her middle-teens, some thoughts dedicated to her..

*****************************************************************

Life is a river with many tributaries
Rowing in a boat, you can never see!
Future choices maybe in plenty
To know them now is an impossibility!

When we miss some efforts and go astray
Little faults stream down the river-way
Lie as the little rocks in the bed of fate
Waiting for us to reach them some day!

Effort debts silt our future ways..
The time we get to the decision days
Tributaries (Choices) dry off without a trace!
We fend the path the boat takes!

Hope you remember the lesson I taught
Simple to teach, yet I fought
Wind that blows the balloon and candle
Have a new message now for you to handle!

Balloon becomes bigger, you know well
When wind is caught in the empty space
Burning candle blows off to tell
Wind left off can wreak us hell!

Efforts we put may grow us every day..
Efforts we leave off wait on us to prey..
Before you move off to the next stage
Ensure your little debts go away!

Happy Birthday Dear..

PS: Effect of Air on Balloon and Candle is her first standard lesson and it was the first lesson I tried to teach her..
