Lost Within The Mind Poem by rob reijman

Lost Within The Mind

Lost, so lost.
they dont think there is a way out of this place.
Could someone shine a bright light?
even a single star would be just right.

So left alone they are in a space, where no one comes.
Lost sight of the past and the things loved,
when the times where so precious.
It seems it turned,
into an empty void that needs to be filled.

a mind went lost when stress started to come,
day by day they grow older.
wishing things could just stay the same
and kept those minds all sane, but they grew insane.

the mind depleted another world created,
pleasure gone and dreams to go back too.

but the future is upahead,
hard to make a single choice.
stuck in the inbetween.
where to go what would you choose?

this empty void is starting to get colder,
for the skin to start freezing.

getting the idea that they should rush,
but the lost ones dont want to.
head out, leave everything behind
and start walking the roads that are ment to travel.
to amend for the troubles, and take in the nature as a friend.

to regain the peace once excisted in the closed lost mind.
to find the way to get out of the place, for where the ones start to get lost. for how difficult it may seem. you´ll be rewarded a life once lost sight off.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Personal, rather difficult to explain to be more precise.
memmories past happy days a normal day.
a sudden tremble,
planting the world upside down
as it hangs on a thread.
you want it to end,
but it wont
and the mind would shut down for it becomes to much.
a nightmare grows, as addictions comes
to keep you stuck.
you realise, changes have to be made
as difficult they become.
and having seen both worlds
as it holds you down with great struggle you will try to get out
but that cycle ends up repeating daily.
and it starts to make you feel lost.

as a side note this is the first thing i ever did for as far with sharing poems toughts. i hope its good or something. never tought to be good at it anyhow.
