Love Poem by Ingrid Jennings

Love

Blinded by the curtains of love,
entangled in the string of a heart,
bewitched by strong concoctions of feelings,
I wish I would have stopped to think of all the consequences love always brings.
It makes you smile,
it makes you frown,
it makes you mad,
it makes you glad,
it makes you sad.
It makes you laugh,
it makes you cry,
it makes you happy,
it makes you wonder who you have become,
it makes you ponder why love is so cruel.
One thing's for sure: it brings you joy.
One thing's for sure: it brings you sorrow.
One thing's for sure: it blinds your eye.
One thing's for sure: it tangles your heart.
One thing's for sure: it leaves you bewitched.
I guess you can say it's a strong witch's brew.
