Love Poem by Moises Ajanel

Love

Rating: 4.5

Love.... What a contradiction! Beautiful yet disastrous to thee..
My oh my how can thy ever be so blind!
Ye beauty intrigued. Sucked thee in like oil by litter.
Left brain dead, paralyzed and bitter.

Thy must escape. End this strife.
Oh what I'd do for a normal life.
But I cannot leave, nor do I want to.
The highs, the lows, the peaks and valleys.
They are a part of me, thy new identity.

A catch 22 of sorts.
Leave and cling on to memories
Hope for eventual happiness.
Or hold on, and expect change from ye.
Patience I lack. I want my life back.
But not without you.
Love, what a contradiction.
I'm left brain dead, paralyzed, and bitter.
