not wanting to ever let go...

knowing that one day you'll leave me,

but i know its worth it,
to see that smile in your eyes,
to hold you as the years go by,

50 years later i still hold you close,
breathing in your sent as you leave me,
your old i shouldve seen this coming,
i knew one day you would leave,

we lived 50 happy years,
we have two kids,
a house,
a yard,
but now the time has come my dear,
that you must go,

I love you,
and i beg you,
wait for me at the gates of hell,
