Love Poem by Elphaba Thropp

Love

Rating: 5.0

Will I ever find true love?

Will I ever find someone who likes me for me?

Or will I just be an old lady who lives alone with cats and dogs?

When will I find that perfect guy?

Have I already?

The guy I like, I've known forever.

His mom use to be my fourth grade teacher,

And he plays the Alto saxophone just like me.

But the problem is,

I don't think he notices me.

We cross each other's paths

And he sees me,

But I don't think he really sees me.

I will never give up on my dream,

Because maybe he might just be

My one true love.

Trina, enjoy your childhood, growing up can happen very suddenly, and painfully.
