There is everything in the air
that takes love away from the heart
and places it into the helm of another;
the eyes do their job as they locate a partner to love
the hands caress each other as love confirms togetherness,
the lips make promises and seal them with kisses constantly,
everyone in the enchantment of love keeps rejoicing,
everything in the name of victory of unity keeps happening,
everywhere, every time a new love story begins.

Sometimes young girls and boys turn old
as their paramour in another's arms chooses to sleep
when he or she finds a new true love
and new love-story thus begins;
but those who have never won their dreams
though they have visualized a hundred times
that their lips too ought to kiss,
how painfully their happiness remains locked,
like an imprisoned bird in a cage
which waits to be un-caged, unchained, un-leashed
for love is a game, a freedom, a gift which everyone
likes to play, have and give to each other so persistently.
