How do i heal the hole in my heart?
when the greater above decided us we shall part.
a new journey for you and for me,
how do i heal and have a fresh new start?

when you had to leave because of his call,
i wanted to keep you and create a long stall.
i had to let go and let you go home,
but it lead me to sadness and a tremendous fall.

I'm learning to stand tall but with a cry here and there,
i'm glad that many have had a shoulder to spare.
I've been alone, I've had support, but it's been very hard.
Hard to talk to someone when they don't even care.

Adapting to the truth has been a large fear,
living each day without a doubt a great tear.
i'll stay strong and keep going for me and for you.
And don't worry ill remember no matter the year.
