Love And The Day Poem by Joseph Blitch

Love And The Day

Truth be known; darkness begins the day;
The day is many hours old at suns first ray;
Does it start at six PM or twelve midnight;
About day's start let us not argue and fight;

Love's start; as days may well be unseen;
With sun's first light; both begin to beam;
The chill of the night begins to gently thaw;
Beautiful scenery the light begins to draw;

While fowls of night join up with their ties;
Symphony music plays as early birds arise;
As love blossoms hearts beat with new song;
Love bonds giving place where each belong;

Morning gives us an hunger for food to eat;
Love grows to where you now feel its heat;
Meals all behind us; we are somewhat pied;
Love to a point we feel somewhat satisfied;

Much beauty is fashioned by evening time;
Time seems to pass quickly; that's a crime;
From twilight to dusk; a complete day done;
True love still in its budding has just begun!

Tag: Love is like the day given that we know not when it births; the time unseen as in darkness; then light and warmth is brought on just as the sun does for the day. Much beauty is fashioned by evening time.
