Love: Are You Coming Really? Poem by Subrat Pradhan

Love: Are You Coming Really?

Some one was saying
That you would come now
Without fail
How could I have believed this
As I have made so many moon
To return
Many a jasmines have gathered
On the earth
Covering all my virgin wishes.

When you went away
Wiping out the signs of
Retuning your foot prints
I was learning
To cry
Brooding over
So many incidents of time, abreast
I was thinking
You to be mine
All the while.

Again when I thought
I was not a human being
I lost
My body, my soul, everything
And thereafter
I find myself
And my surrounding
In a light mood
And at the very moment
Someone yelled out
That you are coming.

Are you coming really
What had taken with you
What have you come along with
Would you have brought any memory
for me
Thinking thus did I err
How would I know
That you were not you then.
