Love At Night Poem by mandy williams

Love At Night

Rating: 0.5

Show you care
Show everyone you love
We're on merely lane
Never could tell when the day takes your time away.

'Fight the way through this darkened day'

Hope is what we long for
Despair is what we face
Tragedy is what we doubt
Love, no trace.

So much trouble
Chaos inside our minds
We're all trying to be faithful
Out slips lies.

The day keeps on going,
It feels like i have been remotely muted
My right to love this person
fades with the night.

My heart is caged of freedom
No returning no looking back
No beautiful insight, on this rocky path we call love.
Death surrenders life, life remembers the dead.

Wicked light to happiness-searching for forsaken healing
Weak all over

Honesty comes from where you think,
Thinking isn't always who you are.
Terrible ways in living this day,
Not a good memory, too many fade.

Listen to your feelings, there's always time
I promise you
It's better than letting love
Burn you inside.
