Love Birds Poem by ERNEST APRAKU

Love Birds

The hour now doesn't waits for the beacon of the seconds again
This proves how time wants to complete it mission
Everything moves as fast as the fall of a heavy rain
I can't wait for us to form babies tonight
I can't afford to even lose your shadow on my bed to night
Am ready to cross thousand rivers if only I can see you
Accept my love or else I faint into the arms of a necessary evil
Countless reasons accounts for all these words
The arrows of death pursue us each day into our graves
Never let us waist this precious moment in our fantasies
My fear is that, we may only enjoy our love as ghost
So as Romeo and Juliet in their un-plan graves.
