Love, Death & The Flower Poem by Andrew Rose

Love, Death & The Flower

Rating: 5.0

Black Petals lay across the hay,
crimson pools around his feet,
a mirror so that only he can see,
last words dying across his face,

Stem and thorns within the hand,
tears fall,
a story from her face,
only the wind will hear,
strangled cries,
last blood,
pooling at his feet
