Love Forever 2012 Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Love Forever 2012

Pieces of my mind,
Wrote words in the 2012 sand.
They spoke to me of your
Love battered souls.

They talked of loves passed,
That didn't last.
They didn't pay attention,
They had no intention.

Your boyfriend looked another way.
Your girlfriend left the other day.

If you hired me as your sculptor,
Using sand at the beach,
I would mold sand into castles.

With their prince and princess,
Holding their kiss,
Eternally in love,
Living happily ever after.

Creating their own lasting paradise,
2012's witness to humanity's eyes.

No more love demise,
Love heaven sending,
Marriage never ending.
