Those malicious smiles that love gives hate
The smile of an uneasy peace, the peace that one gets after settling for second best

Love loves to be seen and hates to be left
Hate on the other hand stays underneath the skin, hiding from the gaze of onlookers.

This troubling wrath between love and hate consumes us in sensation until we are wide eyed in pain.
An everlasting war
A battle of ages
A balance of power.
