Love - I Remember You Poem by Paul Warren

Love - I Remember You

I remember you now the Summer is through
When the birds fly away and the sky is no longer blue
And the days are shorter whilst the sun wains
Now the weather is colder and chimney smoke gains

I remember when we sat together in the evening
When you laughed at my jokes and I had a warm feeling
And it seemed you would stay forever in love's happy refrain
But it did not last and now only memories remain.
