Love In Space Poem by Vincent Cibelli

Love In Space

Dont expect everything to be gold
Pressure dependent forms of diamonds
Vegetation forms of coal
In the space and matter this random universe
Plagued and blessed with intense energies
Destructive powers creating anew
Grasp and latch whatever works
Whatever makes the mark more than off
Than not, cast aside guilt and want
Fall trustingly into the rivers current
Move the sail; to catch the wind
The random improbable attraction of love
Plead to stregth as your fingers tighten
Your muscles relax in retreat
Failing grasp, plunge to unkown beginnings
Sink mercilessly into the unknown
Courageous, inquisitive, posititve
In some release, even if it be death
Will emancipate you from any bodage
Rise from any tomb where your minds buried
No chains can hold the freed mind soul
Songs of flight caged birds, migrating mountains
Wane and wax, as the wick-light dies
Fade as a candle
Explode as the sun
Into the remaining darkness
Future visions of universal continuance
