It's so peaceful here beside you
the birds are chirping and the air is warm
You know that i love you and you love me
Never will we tell each other adieu

When I lay next to you I feel safe and protected
not worried about what's next or what's to come
we whisper quietly and laugh with each other
we will be together as one forever connected

I hold your hand and you hold mine
with my eyes closed all I can feel is you squeezing my hand
I never knew that i could be so happy
opening my eyes I see you looking at me your eyes so fine

In that moment I realized the true meaning of peace and love
it's that time when your alone holding your loved one
quietly talking and enjoying the world
its magical and it's something I'll never let go of
