Love In The Dark Poem by richard belis

just the two of us,
in my room all alone,
we're young not over 20,
we're both on my bed,
just sitting staring,
at each other, wondering,
whats next, its so dark,
i feel a chill i'm so nervous,
this could be my first and my last,
this night, i might love her more,
but it can break us too,
so now I wonder is it worth it,
to do this deed in the dark,
or should I wait longer thats the hardest question,
I know we love each other though so i'll see into the dark,
and lets see what comes of it.....
