Love Is A Hateful Term Poem by John Johns

Love Is A Hateful Term

I never knew hearts could break in thirds
til I day I learned, that love is a hateful term
true my main concern, we faced the worst
But I guess we couldn't make it work
what we had, may it lay in dirt,
Never again to strain my nerves

Someday you'll learn we
Face the world blindfolded in a maze of curves
No brakes to pace as we taking turns,
ending the chase with a painful burn
clouded with a dazy blur
angry first, tryin to retain

ur grace while embracing this major hurt
receding pulse, fiending for a taste of her
She sucked my lip and drained my words
Now I'm left, with this god forsaking verse
Reminiscing of the days that were

Now it seems were taking turns
Making sure to let eachother know were doing great
Who's to blame, takes two to make us thru the day
Thru the games and truth less blame you moved away
mood all changed, still I choose to stay.

Again to try a second time, and if ends do I
Pretend to be your friend and lie, thought you were
The one I was meant to find, do I wait til the end of time
Then decide on the edge of my bed next to an empty side.
This's how I'm meant to die
Told my self that I'd never cry, but it gets tough when we never said goodbye

I feel like I'm half way to death and I'm facing hell,
I cant get a grip on anything thinking about the way we fell
i hope your life goes great and well
Everything that happened I blame my self
