Love Is A Sad And Sorry Chameleon Poem by Hebert Logerie

Love Is A Sad And Sorry Chameleon

Love sometimes behaves like a furious lion.
Love is a sad and sorry chameleon,
Which can change at any moment,
Like the wind and the waves of the ocean.

Love nourishes the children,
Caresses the youngsters, the lovers,
And can harm like a deadly hurricane.
Love is a difficult instrument.

Love is unique in its features.
Love is a sad and sorry chameleon
Who gets excited like a tiger, like a lion.
Love christens, blesses, and gives the last sacrament.

Sometimes deep in awe, sometimes drowned in sadness,
Love swims in the cold or in the heat of troubled waters.
Love charms like the good angel or like the demon of distress;
Love is a mystery, an oxymoron.

Love is like a difficult instrument.
Love gives birth, and courts death. Alas!
Love laughs, cries, and is rarely wrong;
For young lovers, this may sound like a song.

Love is a feeling, a symptom
Of craziness, madness and fantasy;
It is a utopia, a melody and a symphony.
Love is like a foam, an atom.

Love is an oxymoron, a mystery,
Which is unique in its features.
Love is a sad and sorry serpent.
It is like a chess game for old and young lovers.
