Love Is Like An Apple Poem (Long Poem)

Rating: 3.5

He told me love was like an apple
he said, 'you start out with an apple
it has to be the perfect red apple
then you begin to wash red apple clean.

Before you slice red apple you take
the red apple and slice it in half
then you cut red apple in slices
placing red apples in a bowl.

Because it's you and it's what you
know you like you add some peanutbutter
in a bowl you take some apples and
dip into peanutbutter tasting sweet.

Sticky peanutbutter in your mouth
you know you want that you add some
caramel in a bowl you take some
apples and dip into warm caramel.

Tasting sweet sticky caramel in
your mouth you know you want that
it's calling your name out loud
you reach out for more apples.

You like it you are falling in love
with it, it's most amazing feeling
that you are craving for apples
you really want perfect balance.

Top it off with an extra large
helping of peanutbutter or caramel
you crave and you find that this
apple snack is perfect for you.

Then you can't truly enjoy it you
want the perfect someone to share
it with so, you have to find
Someone that enjoys the same thing.

As you then you offer them the
chance to partake in this wonderful
apple snack freely sharing the life
you have created if they are inclined.

They partake and you share in the
magic of all the love you added into
it for yourself and for them life,
friendship, spice, spunk, laughter,

Balance and the other half
(A partake to share it with)
not too much or you end up with
plain apples just a perfect apple snack! .

Yes, words of wisdom in disquise
my man taught me not to take life
or love too seriously to share it
with the ones we trust and love.

To put it in what you want out of to
live, laugh, and love to make memories
and to enjoy every bite of apples! .
