Love Is War Poem by Ibn Ali

Love Is War

Love kills in kisses
When the lips are weapons
And her aim is reckless
And I bled raw emotion
She made lust a gambit
She was born a trojan
Filled the horse with her militia
It was love she wanted
Her body was the ransom
She let herself be captured
Girl of mine
I please her, knowing her pleasure pleases me
She's the reason the stars are shy
Her passion tastes like fire
Her tears like cold blue steel
Her forever song is
Did I do something wrong
It's, what have I done now
Eyes show age the most and first
Lechery, Never lust averse
That takes it's toll
I heard a true smile creases
I've folded her features
With every joke I've told
Had a hand in her looking old
And here I am still youthful
Love is War
