Love, Is What I Need! ! ! Poem by Crystal Tutson

I often sit down and think about how you say you love me but don't show it,
or better yet I look in the mirror and my face you hit.

How can one smile through a relationship that's torn asunder,
how can I stay in a bitter relationship makes you and others wonder?

I'm tired of all the late nights, mysterious numbers and staring at another girl,
and when I confront you about it I'm then quickly your world.

Something in this realtionship just ain't right,
I take you for all your faults, is it you or am I not bright?

Don't you understand that I love you more than anything?
When we first met it was you who made my heart sing.

But as the hours, days, and months roll by,
the only thing my heart does now is remorsefully cry.

Why I ask myself, do I continue to take the abuse?
I ask you for love and you continue to make an excuse.

The question is asked, are you here for me or for what I can offer you?
If not for me then excuse yourself because I want to say my ' I do'.

What about the times I ask you for simple kiss?
It's like you become disgusted or shocked or maybe speechless.

I can't continue to be turned away,
I'm speechless myself, what else can I say.

Love is what I need, are you the man to give it to me?
If yes, show it, If not, let me be.
