Love Just Happens Poem by Sandra Feldman

Love Just Happens

Rating: 5.0

No locks on the doors
When it came to you,
Love can't be forced to enter
Nor can it be made to stay too.
I will always love you,
No matter when or why,
Love doesn't ask permission
It just happens,
Like the sky.

Sandra, a wonderful poem. Love just happens because all its conditions are met. It obviously is caused by our minds. It can be one-way or reciprocal. When people fall out of love maybe it wasn't love at all. +++10

I cannot adjectively augment with words like: Fatherly or brotherly. The use of romantic love is usually indicative of something more 'physical' I suppose I could divide it into love for both animal and plant life. But, it seems to me, that it is either 'on' or 'off'.

I would remove the word; too. The concept is immense, broad. I love so many people; more than I personally know. I am never shy to let them know. They 'know' our status. Six are my children, two are some of my siblings. Many dozen are my friends (most are like family, several are truly so) , many more, I have not yet met.

Like the sky. Yes. Love and other things both great and small happen without our connivance just like our day arrives with weather WE cannot ordain... but we can sure welcome the sky [most days], can't we, dear friend? Your loving heart deserves love's many visits! Uplifting poem is welcome to come on in- no doors will be locked against it! ! ! 10++++++++++++++++++++++
