Love is lost
for me you see
the day that he said
I could no longer be
the one he holds
the one he loves
Love is lost for me
It came in a rush
I should have known
his eyes should
have told
the story of how
he would leave in minutes
that he wasn't strong
to stand and watch
me grow into a flower
Love is lost
and hurts like hell
I wonder why I even tried
to tell you
that i loved you so much
you slapped but didn't hit me
when you turned your back
laughed as if this joke
was all on me
Love is lost
I don't feel the same
I don't think I can feel it
only pain
its thrown in my face everyday
to ask me are we cool
it hurts even more this way
to try to be friends i can't
Love is lost
you had a chance
to be with someone
who would have ride and danced
through the ups and downs
but you left
leaving me with tears and pain
Love is lost
no way i'll get it back
no way i'll put faith in it
no way i'll trust it
i've lost the ablity to love it
