Love No More Poem by Diana Dolhancyk

Love No More

Sea of salt, From crusted tears dripped. The roaring of his soul as it fled. Vacant eyes that stare, A skeleton moldering on the shore. His love thrust a dagger into his breast The day she spoke the words I love no more. It whirled around, around in his head, A silent scream, madness descended. And as the wind toyed with disheveled hair, A mist appeared and gathered him in... As vacant bloodshot eyes stared, Spitting sea foam splayed the air. While the sea, gently rocking, carried him to bed.
