Love Reigns Poem by Isaac Debrah

Love Reigns

I will never prod thee
But massage thoughts that relieve
Fondness from me to thee
Sure to leave impediment to the sea
Swallows predicaments indeed
Time is bound to bail me
Triumph for love is no reward
Obsessed love for thee is broad

Relax and let status quo remain
Love never an albatross or insane
Pours as heat breeds sweat from skin
Once a goon weaving nets to win
Feeding chicks with corn in a spin
Swollen with feed and slain in rage
Paraded in a quest is more swallow
An eagle aback on whom to follow

Time elapses and world turns around
Now in thy Web and thee to spare
Aside now lays my crown
Love is never reason; odd and rare
Intertwined pain and joy seeming blur
Manumit I crave but all too clear
Lesson taught and it's fruits are broad
One love is eternal as new age roar
