Love Rules Poem by Chris Smethurst

Love Rules

I'm so glad when you are around
My head's in the clouds
Both feet off the ground

I'm so glad just being with you

This Love
Fits my soul like a glove

Two Doves
Two Fools
Love Rules
For me and You

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
That warm rosy feeling of being in love and being loved
When you don't have it you want it so bad
When you have it you fear losing it
Oh that it could last forever
Alas, all things will pass
Maybe my few simple words will catch it and save it forever
Hope so

A short and sweet poem about love. There are many faces to love: it can burn in the heart, like a dark or bee as cool as ice. I guess we can take our pick. Well done for writing your poem. Best
