Love's Boundaries



Love is tender
When warmth shared
Can be perceived
In two phases:
Laughter and sorrow
Splicing the sections
Of life's diaphragm.

When the stomach aches
And wounds hurt,
That is where
Love's boundaries
Are conceived -
Every surgery
Has its side effects.
