Love's Consequences Poem by Tashira Rodriguez

Love is something that amazes me,
You don't know how it feels from what you read and see.
It has to be felt to understand,
And know how much real love can truly withstand.

Whether it's family love, or romantic love,
When you loose that person, your heart gives a shove.
You feel like dying, just to meet again.
Your depression takes you down, as you go insane.

Some come out of that state,
But others make a mistake.
They take their life's, and commit suicide,
Because they couldn' t take the pain inside.

Then, like a cycle, it all starts over.
Not letting the others go back to being sober.
Depression starts all over again,
And it keeps going, and never ends.
