Love’s Ecstasy Poem by David Harris

Love’s Ecstasy

Rating: 5.0

Surrounded by a million words
the lovers with pen in hand
begin to compose their letters
to their love ones in far off lands.
They coat each line they write
with sweet tasting words
that flow like
the beating of their hearts.
They write I love you
with sincerity and joy.
Writing that they miss
their true love so far away
and will be glad when
they are home again to stay,
hoping that their love
will commence again to grow
and they will once again swim in
the pools of love’s ecstasy.
