Love's Illusion Poem by RAJ NANDY

Love's Illusion

She became the twinkle of my eyes, -
Since the day we had first met!
Her image lay captive in my eyes, -
Her face I could never forget!
Our difference of age mattered not, -
Let such barriers true love defy!
So when she brought me flowers one
day,
She planted kisses over both my eyes!
And after she left I realized, it was neither my
cheeks nor my lips, -
But it was her image which lay captive in my
eyes,
She had paused to gently kiss!
