I have waited almost a year for you,
I had hoped the pain would just be a phase,
But my pain and sadness will never be through,
Cause now my heart is torn in to many ways,

Is this jealousy I feel?
Or is it heart break?
How do I keep my lips shut with a seal?
I can't ignore it, I still feel that ache

I want to be her, to hear the love word to her you utter,
I want to be there and feel the love flow,
I want to be the one that makes your heart flutter,
I want to be the one tied around your heart like a bow.

I wish you could look at me and say
"I see you, "
Say thoughts of me run through your head everyday,
So I can again believe in what was true.

I will always long for the day where you would say I still love you….
