Love The Emotion Poem by Ryan T. Ventresco

Love The Emotion

Impatient movements evade my everyday
Consisting of fragile topics
Consistently toppling down on top of me
Love the emotion, stays the same

Sanity could be overrated
Or maybe underrated
Who decides sanity anyways
Another what if created.

The thought of your long black hair baffles me
Medusa sounds more plausible
Your mere voice has me stoned
Another Dylan reference wasted.

Stepping up to the line is the hardest part.
Does hope and persistance win this race
or will reality trip them up
I guess we better tie our shoes tight

Tieing shoes shows another engraved message
What else is just meant to be
Common sense should be less common
Sense is only in the mind of the senseless.

The only evolvolution theory I care about is yours
So many paths open up for you
What can I do to make mine shine
The blackness turns to color.

Paint by numbers would be much easier
to bad for us its not that way
Ideas will be made into actions
This masterpiece will prove to be worth the time.
