Love The Soul Poem by Dhirendra Kumar Panda

Love The Soul

She is ugly, unpleasant to look at,
Tall, stout, robust she,
Need not to laugh, teeth always you can see,
Even in dark New Moon night,
Wagging tail, like a wild pig she walks,
Observe her, compare Jackanapes,
And her belly, a swollen pumpkin,
Her voice, lions may fear,
Hands, keep distance, like hammer,
Eyes glowing, cats fear and run,
She with her dresses, looks a funny creature,
Forget beauty pageant,
Nobody dares to see her,
Children fear to see her.

Peep into her, closely observe her,
The soul in her,
Beyond your imaginations, beyond expectations,
She serves the human, round the clock,
Irritate, hesitate, rudeness ‘n’ reluctance,
Invisible in her dictionary,
Doesn’t discriminate rich or poor,
High or low, caste or religion,
She goes round and round,
Comes to mind,
Florence Nightingale ‘n’ Mother Teresa,
She is the loving caring girl,
Best Friend of Old, Poor and Sick.

Appreciate the true beauty lies in her,
Love her, extend your love towards her,
Don’t fear, Love the great soul, love her.
