Love Under Moon Poem by Megan Altine

Love Under Moon

I'm in here
Sleep in
Lost in
An escape of emotion
Falsely accused of the worst crime
The crime of sheltering desires
Ignoring the failures that lead me to the destruction of us
The happiness I mold into a terror
Still I lay awake with thoughts that lead in to questions
What details
What confinement
Directed me to our demise
I'm in here
Choking
Stumbling on my feelings reaching for you
My upmost high and LOVE
Not loved
But LOVE
See I love you uncomplicated
Cause I am stolen by you
And admire you
You have patience of my God
And his love is within your eyes
You are the center in my ground
Inside you I will be find the persons of me.
My worst enemy
For you can make my songs bleed
And my battles cough
A sense of no control.
I'm in here
With dark and light
With hope and fright
With wishful thinking
And a well sinking.
I'm in here
A woman of a mistake
That torments her very being
Rummaging around for a plead
but
Fear Like my God
I might feel your raft before love
Might cry a tear before your joy.
Love with out sin is
Love without passion
Trust rebuild is unbroken
Without a curse of fragilement
I'm in here
Simply with hope of word
That one day he will say
I love you again under the moon
Like those nights I took for granted.
