Love Was Right Poem by Alex Searle

Love Was Right

Rating: 5.0

She sells sea shells on the shore
All day, and all night; love was right
A thousand times a day

Distant sands in distant lands
And I'd wait for first light; love was right
A thousand steps a day

O, close your eyes
O, I was wrong, love was right

In the sea of potential we choose to stay dry
So why do we wonder, when the world passes us by
